Hi, I'm Anjanee.

I’m a data analyst currently exploring full-time opportunities–here's my resume. I'm also a singer and music teacher. I was a finalist in India's music TV show, and have collaborated with Academy Award-winning filmmakers as a playback singer for Indian movies.

Virise Virise

A music video I did with Indian playback singer Kaala Bhairava, composed by Academy Award winner M. M. Keeravani.

POV - Ariana Grande

A cover song inspired by one of my favorite Ariana Grande tracks. This is my modest attempt to capture Ariana's unparalleled vocal technique and recreate her unique style.

Jaaniye

A collab I did with the incredibly talented Razik Mujawar on this beautiful Bollywood song, Jaaniye from the movie Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga.

Mannipaya

A short clip of this melodious Tamil song composed by A.R. Rahman and originally sung by Shreya Goshal. I love the simplicity of the melody despite its sophisticated notes.

Kusalama

A duet I sang with legendary filmmaker, Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, famous for directing blockbuster movies like Michael Madana Kama Rajan, Apoorva Sagodharargal, Maya Bazaar, and Pushpak.

Find me on Instagram if you'd like to listen to more of my songs.

QTR.AI

QTR is an AI-powered visual planning app to organize life in weekly sprints. The insights we got from the metric dashboards I created influenced the founders to make a product pivot.

Mimic Analytics

The cluster analysis and A/B testing I did for this client contributed to a more refined marketing strategy, ultimately leading to a noticeable boost in revenue.

NASA Obstacle Detection

Making skies safer–we made drones better at detecting and avoiding obstacles using LiDAR data, reaching 95% accuracy with a special algorithm to identify tall objects.

Anjanee is hardworking, smart, proactive, and full of ideas. She instantly connected with everyone in the team, asked lots of questions, and built dashboards that gave us insight into how our users were using QTR. The data she extracted eventually led us to make a big product pivot. Highly recommend her to any team looking for a talented data analyst. – Swami Venkataramani, CEO at QTR

QTR.AI

QTR is an AI-powered visual planning app that helps you organize your life in weekly sprints. It combines goals, projects, tasks, a calendar, and a journal in one place. As a data analyst, I worked closely with the founders and the engineering team to extract insights and created metric dashboards to make data-driven decisions. The work I did helped the founders understand exactly how users were engaging with the platform. My dashboards enabled them to follow up with users who were active daily, not active, or those who had signed up but never logged in.My dashboards also helped the team to make some important product-related pivots. For instance, we found that most users in the B2C segment did not appreciate the highly-structured quarterly goal setting, so we simplified the entire flow around goals on QTR.

Mimic Analytics

In the Mimic Analytics project, I successfully managed various marketing campaigns using data analysis. This helped us make smarter decisions to increase revenues and profits. I handled multiple campaigns with $10,000 weekly budgets, making sure we used our resources wisely.I grouped customers based on similarities through cluster analysis, which made our marketing efforts more personalized. I also ran A/B tests on our website, trying out different ideas and using data to figure out which ones worked best.I paid close attention to the data and results, spotting trends and adjusting our strategies accordingly. To get even better insights, I brought in data from other sources and integrated it with our own. This made our targeting of different market groups more accurate.Overall, I used data to guide our marketing strategies, manage budgets effectively, and adapt our approaches for better results. This led to increased profits while catering to various customer segments.

NASA Obstacle Detection

This NASA project aimed to improve drones by helping them detect and avoid obstacles during flight using LiDAR data. This is essential for safe drone operation in complex places like cities and disaster areas. We picked the DALES dataset for its good coverage and labeled aerial data.We faced the challenge of telling apart ground and non-ground points in LiDAR data. We used the cloth simulation filtering (CSF) algorithm to solve this. CSF simulates dropping a cloth onto the point cloud and sees how it interacts with the points. This gave us about 95% accuracy in classifying points.Next, we worked on spotting tall objects like buildings and power lines. We used the KMeans clustering algorithm to group points. After trying different settings, we found that using more clusters (around 80 to 150) and focusing on heights between 25 to 35 feet worked best. Our results were stored in a geodatabase, which helped drone controllers plan safe flight paths. For the future, we suggested automating classification models using voxelization and exploring deep learning algorithms for complex shapes like power lines. To sum up, this project used LiDAR data to make drones better at avoiding obstacles. This has big implications for areas like delivery, transportation, and farming where drones can work safely and efficiently.

Hi, I'm Anjanee.I use this site to highlight my data analytics projects and music. Originally from Mumbai, I'm currently based in San Jose.I’m a passionate, detail-oriented data analyst with roughly two years experience, actively seeking full-time opportunities. I'm especially interested in the intersection of data analytics and marketing, but I'm new to the field and still exploring my niche, so I'm open to getting my hands dirty with any kind of data, business, or finance analytics related work–here's my resume.I'm also a singer and music teacher. I was a finalist in India's music TV show, and have collaborated with Academy Award-winning filmmakers as a playback singer for Indian movies.
